About St Stanislaus

St Stanislaus' College is an independent Roman Catholic day and boarding school for boys located in Bathurst, New South Wales. Established in 1867 and operated by the Congregation of the Mission since 1889, it is the oldest Catholic boys’ boarding school in Australia and educates around 700 students from Years 7 to 12, including a significant boarding population. The college occupies a large historic campus close to the city centre, with buildings dating from the late nineteenth century and later additions that reflect its long period of expansion.

The school is associated with several national and state educational bodies and competes as a full member of the Independent Sporting Association. Its programs emphasise Catholic formation alongside academic, sporting and cultural development, with a long tradition of performing arts and co-curricular involvement. Alumni include political leaders, clergy, public servants, authors, journalists, scientists, military figures and professional athletes.
