Continental RFU Schools Cup
The National Schools Cup is one of the most prestigious competitions in English schools rugby, bringing together schools from across the country in a season-long knockout tournament. Competitions are played at U18 and U15 level, with teams competing across the Cup, Plate, Vase and Bowl pathways.
The flagship U18 Cup has been contested since the 1990–91 season, with generations of leading schools progressing from regional competition to the national knockout stages. The Cup and Vase culminate in showpiece finals at Twickenham Stadium, giving young players the opportunity to represent their schools on one of rugby’s most famous stages.
From the opening regional rounds through to the national quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals, the Schools Cup remains a defining part of the English schools rugby season.
